Along the Sumida River, Katsushika Hokusai pursued a fascination with all of creation through his art.
Following in Hokusai’s footsteps, the SumiYume project brings a colorful variety of art and cultural activities to the Sumida River and its surroundings, as if adding color to ink (sumi) drawings of our dreams (yume).
